Ope George, special adviser to the governor on public private partnerships, disclosed the three bidders for the project during a news conference on Nov. 26, in Lagos.
The final bidders are Mota-Engil (Nigeria and Africa) CCCC and CRBC Consort; CGGC-CGC joint venture; and CCECC and CRCCIG Consortium, he said.
George said the competitive bidding process for the FMB has been completed, which is the request for proposal stage one (RFP 1).
He said the RFP 2 which is the final stage of the bidding process was issued to the three bidders that he disclosed and $2.5 billion is estimated for the project.
He further added that the project is expected to become the second longest Bridge in Africa featuring three toll plazas, nine interchanges, a 4.5km lagoon bridge and an eco-friendly environment, The Cable reported.
